Default HDR: Ice on Slow Water

I have taken this picture last winter during a hike through the forest. My goal was it, to take a picture of a creek where the water looks really silky.

Please give me, let's say "positive" critique in the way of:
I like it because.....
I hate it because .....
You can improve ....

Tell me what you think about this shoot!

My eyes keep moving between the white of the water and the white of the snow. And the snow is winning. I would crop the picture to get rid of the snow. This way the picture feels more peaceful and your eye can rest on the white in the water.

Default Crop

I love this. Great job captureing the motion. The crop would be ok. Try it both ways. I like it!

I agree with the suggestion of cropping the snow at the upper part so the viewers' attention are directed solely to the movement of the water.

Cheers!
