I have taken this picture last winter during a hike through the forest. My goal was it, to take a picture of a creek where the water looks really silky.
Please give me, let's say "positive" critique in the way of: I like it because..... I hate it because ..... You can improve .... Tell me what you think about this shoot! ISO: 100 Focal Length: 32mm Aperture: f/10 Camera: Canon EOS 400D/Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Lens: Tamron 18-240 Filter: Hoya Neutral Gray Filter NXD8 Exposure: 1st Pic: 1.00 sec 2nd Pic: 1/4 sec 3rd Pic: 4.00 sec Manfrotto Tripod Here is also a link to flickr, if you like to see the picture in other sizes: Ice on Slow Water on Flickr - Photo Sharing! p.s.: sorry for my english, i'm not a "native" speaker :-) |

My eyes keep moving between the white of the water and the white of the snow. And the snow is winning. I would crop the picture to get rid of the snow. This way the picture feels more peaceful and your eye can rest on the white in the water.
