This is a comp I threw together for a three year old I just did pics for. My question is, does it look too photoshopped? The mother loved it, but my critical eye is like really? Where the left wing is, is a darker part of the tree, that I think I am going to photoshop out because you really can't see it, any thoughts??

Not so sure about getting rid of the wing all together but what you could do is darken it to match better. I'd also put a tad bit of a shadow from the tree onto her dress. Keeps it feeling more real. Sometimes its the tiny touches that make the image
I'd probably also crop it down to just outside of the tree trunk. For me, the empty space makes the image feel off balance.

You know...my first impression was that it was a really really nice post processed shot. Great mood. The slight vintage coloring. The vignetting. It all works as a whole. And of course the mother loved it as she isn't looking at the individual elements but the whole.
Now, looking at the individual elements, the wings might work better if it was a bit darker and maybe cropping it a bit one side or the other so the little girl is not in the center of the frame will help. But...really...all of those are secondary since, with a shot like this you're going for the overall emotional impact and for that, I think you got it

I fixed the wings and I made it darker on that one side, the only thing everyone keeps bring up is the reflection. If you look at the picture she appears to be coming out from behind the tree, the tree reflection is not in the water, so I think it would look silly to have her reflection and not the tree's reflection, it doesn't work. These are all basically images I found and comped together, nothing is originally as it was. I cropped out the bottom as well, so whatever part of the tree was there is now gone.
Thanks for all the advice, it's always nice to have a second set of eyes, or third or fourth....
