Default Interesing take on a dark capture

Well your capture is definitely interesting. I find it very dark, and as the viewer's eyes generally seeks the brightest areas first, these seem to be overexposed white spots. Your tire is nicely on the left hand third. I personally don't think I would hang it on my office wall.

Just to let you know....
Everyone has their own style, the red tint doesn't ruin the image, its just thats its not "my style". If thats the look you was going for and your happy with it, then great job !

oh...and I meant "scratches" not scratched..lol

Ah, now I understand. In this case I have a different perspective on it entirely. Cool shot, I can just picture it above my stove now.

Default Not ordinary print

Actually though, as this capture and PP is not the usual "Wal-Mart" or "Shopping Mall" print which factories mulch out by the thousands that the masses hang over their couches, this print is evocative, and I could see it in a gallery collection which has a gallery room display story inclusive of such a capture and others beholding to the story of the portfolio. Good luck with everything, and sometimes it is good to see a capture which is not the type one expects on the front of a greeting card. What were you thinking when you captured it and PP for the after effects?

I am blown away, thank you very much for this.
One thing I try to do is "be different". Never have I ever been accused of being main stream. What I was thinking before taking this? I wanted to grab 'mechanical shapes'. Looking more at the way parts fit together for composition. PP let me change the images even more in the direction of 'shapes'. I'd rather the viewer wonder "what the hell is that" than to be able to look at it and know exactly what it is. There are a few more of these that I posted in 'SYS ' 'Processed and HDR'.
Thank you again for this post. This made my day.

Thank God someone has the balls to do some real processing , this is outstanding , the darkness is intriguing and the image has a gritty quality that screams artist. Your composition is good as well , nice work , keep 'em coming.
