Default Might be the wrong forum but here goes - what type of computer set up do you use?
I need to buy something new and I'm looking for some recommendations. I'm considering an iMac but I'm not sure it's powerful enough. So then I'm also thinking about a Mac Pro with maybe the 30" monitor. I've been using Elements but I should probably upgrade to full Photoshop. Any suggestions would be seriously appreciated!

I use a 15" Macbook Pro with the faster HD (7200 over 5400RPM) and twice the RAM as standard. Works a treat with everything in CS4.

I use a 15" Macbook Pro that I've upgraded the RAM on, and I also use a standard configuration 2008 24" iMac. Both work well with CS4

I've got an older iMac (from 2007) and it seems to do just fine. Newer would be faster for sure.
