ThanQ for ur responses guys
.I actually was referring to the post processing done on each of the photos to acheive the vintage/retro look and the golden light. I hope the following set of pics would illustrate exactly what I'm talking about. The first link is of the pic straight out of the cam and the second after PP. Sleepy Rainbows on Flickr - Photo Sharing! http://i46.tinypic.com/2zisahz.jpg & The world is passing by, while thoughts are spinning in my head.. on Flickr - Photo Sharing! http://i45.tinypic.com/15pl6ps.jpg I hope my question's more clear now....

It looks to me like a little bit of split toning. Try to use split toning with highlights a kinda of khaki and the shadows a light grey. I think it provides a bit of this look.
I did what I describe to this picture. ![]() It is subtle but I think ads warmth and a tad bit of the retro feel.

I have to agree that it looks like split-toning. To get that kind of a consistent glow you tend to need to add an extra layer of color to the picture, and doing it selectively to the light or dark tones can be very powerful. I don't know if you use Lightroom, but Lightroom does give you a very easy way to do this, although you can use PS or PSE as well, and perhaps even Gimp (been awhile since I was editing over there and back then I didn't really know about split-toning). It is a quality picture SOOC, though, so do take that into consideration. My suggestion would be to give split-toning a try--you might not achieve this exactly look, but I would bet you'll be blown away by what you can achieve if you play around with it.
