I import all my photos in iPhoto which is very convenient for me... except that it sets all my dates to 2008 9and random months on top of that) and it never registers the Flash and shutter speed in the exif info... When i open the photo in Photoshop it gives me the date set by iPhoto, not the camera and i have no info for shutter speed and flash... And it does that regardless what camera i use, including my mobile... My computer is set to the right time and date.
What am i doing wrong? How can i fix this? It is highly annoying as i either have to manually adjust the date for each photo or to live with them at the wrong settings... Should i import all my pics using the software provided by Nikon? Alexandra |

No one? Please? I really cant figure out why photos taken today are imported into iPhoto as taken in august-november 2008... All my iPhoto says the pics are taken in 2008 and i have tons of pics taken this year with 3 different cameras....

I've never had that happen; to the best of my knowledge it reads the date off the file, which is generated from the camera. Have you checked your camera's date settings, just to be sure? I'd start there myself.
