Default Photo slideshow/video software.

Good morning one and all,

This is mainly directed to wedding photographers but really, anyone is more than welcome to contribute to this thread.

I'm looking to make a picture slideshow with music as a gift with the photos i have taken of my friend's birthday party.

I'm wondering what software would you guys be recommending? I'm looking for ease of use (nothing on a pro level really) and the ability to add effects to each picture transitioning from one the the next like fade, slide left etc.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Default I use these

they are pretty easy to use

Flash Slideshow Builder - flash slideshow maker & photo thumbnail gallery software
This one has transitions and motion effects. Supports most popular audio files.

Flash Slideshow Software | Free Flash Slideshow Templates - iPixSoft Official
This one has transitions and animations. Also supports most audio files.

Giveaway of the Day - free licensed software daily. Today: Digital Photo Organizer - Your pictures will be perfectly sorted and ready for easy access at any time if you use Digital Photo Organizer. ...
I visit this site everyday. Free registered software. I got the ipixsoft flash slideshow free here. I look at what they are offering. If interested go to the proceed to download page. Then read the comments. The site offers a wide assortment of software. You have 24 hrs to d/l and install the program and really it's free. I check it everyday like i said cause you can go there for a long time before you find something you might like. Two weeks ago they gave away a photo collage maker then the next day the ipix flash was there.

I make all kinds of slideshows for my friends with these two programs.

hope this helps

Iphoto if you're a mac. It's already on your machine.

(I used Windows Movie Maker before I switched to mac. It works quite well.)

I like Pinnacle. You can do all kinds of transitions, mix photos and video, sound overlay, text, etc. You can even do picture-in-picture or video-in-video or select out parts of photos or even parts of a video frame. I have made some awesome gifts & projects with this and still haven't even used everything the program has to offer! I have Studio 11, so not sure if there is a more current version, but this one does quite a lot!
