Question How would you do the post processing on this shot?

This shot is straight out of the camera. I really like the bokeh, and color, but would love some advice on how to do some post op work to make it even better. I always seem to lose something when I try to work on a shot like this.

Hi, Kptasteve!

I took the liberty to play a tad with your image. here's what (with a basic PP) i came up with:

KeeneChristmas2009-1_0031----

Here's what i did PS CS4 (Trial Version)

- Curves = Channel: RGB, Output: 145, Input: 111
- Levels = Channel: RGB, Input levels to 6 - 1,00 - 255
- Apply the Auto tone

You can also sharpen a bit and add a light vignette and you'll get this:

KeeneChristmas2009-1_0031----2

What do ya think?
