Default Group Shot alternative? Need Help!

I took a family photo (two actually) and one is great, except for one person decided to look away from the camera. In the second photo, he is looking at the camera, but some of the kids weren't.
I have used Group Shot - by Microsoft - in the past to "cut & paste" the head of the "offender" and fix the photo.
I haven't had to use it in a while, and when I tried to use it today it said I needed to go back to Microsoft for some update, and when I did they said it is no longer available for download.
So... what I need to know ... is there another way or free program to fix this?

I have Photoshop Elements 6 if that would work and someone could talk me through it.

By the way, this photo is going to be a Christmas gift, so I need to fix it ASAP so I can get it printed and framed in time for giving!

Ah, somehow I was able to recover the Group Shot on my computer. It wouldn't originally use it, but now it works. What a lifesaver!
