Default Help with HDR

Hi All,

I was recently seeing some HDR photos and have decided to apply this techniqe on my own. Nevertheless, the outcome is not the same as I would like, or in that sence, the outcome is not the same as I have seen out there on the web.

So, what I do is take multiple images of the same scene with different exposures and use HDR photomerge on Adobe CS4.

Can someone, who has experience with this technique, be kind enough and let me know where I can learn about this. Is there another software needed for this? Or any other inforamtion that can help me get thorugh this.

Thank you
Ali

That's a good start. There are several well written tutorials on HDR available on the web. A lot depends on what type of look you are after. True HDR images usually are only viewable using a monitor capable of producing the required range. A majority of the HDR images you see are tonemapped and can be a bit over the top with the processing. Some people use Photomatix or Qtpfsgui to process their images. There are other software programs available, Also.
