It's best to do it in-camera. You can remove it in PP, but it never looks quite right.

Can you post an example and I'll see if I can help you - I have gotten pretty good at it.. I'll look and see if I can find an example - but I duplicate the layer, geta verysoft brush at like 20% opacity and take a skin sample and go over the trouble area, and then change the blending option to overlay and then reduce opacity to taste.

I recently photographed a woman who was going through "the change" and within minutes she was a shiny mess.

If you have hot spots, they can be removed if there are not tooo large on the face. I do it in photoshop elements 7. I select the brish tool set to normal on an opacity of about 30 and then i select the foreground color and using the dropper select the color that is closest to the hot spot on their skin, then using the soft round brush i color in the hot spots until they blend nicely with the skin.
You can also use the magnetic selection tool to select a portion of skin close to the hot spot and layer it via copy, then move it ontop o fthe hot spot and adjust hte layer opacity to look natural.
If you wanna see examples post a hot spot picture and I will edit it step by step for yah. Hope this helps (:

I color in the shiny bits with a soft brush, using a color selection from the non shiny bits. Then I smudge it all around. Not very technical and probably not the right way but it works for now
