So I am wondering how to create backgrounds in photoshop. And how to insert them into a picture?
Also do you know where digital backgrounds are on the web for FREE? There was another thread below but no answer. Thanks!

Start with a new blank document, transparent, black, or white. Select the gradient tool. Change the mode on the status bar to difference. then just start dragging your gradient tool. Or you can add a layer then do the same thing. Thats my preference cause then I can change the layer blend mode. Try it. do it a couple of times and you will see what happens. If ya don't like the result theres always the trash can and you can start over again. Change the gradients. Go to the filters and add some stuff , I like the Filter

I'm sure there are lots of places in the WWW to find free backgrounds. But why not take your own. It's a great way to use your camera. I also take shots of textures. You never know when you might need them.
