If a picture can say a thousand words, what do three pictures say? Creating a portrait collage is a fun way to present your photos in a creative way. In this Photoshop video tutorial I demonstrate how to combine multiple high-key portraits into a simple collage using Layer Masks and image transformation.
This is a great tutorial for studio prographers who regularly shoot high-key portraits. The technique can be used to combine multiple portraits of a single person in a collage or to create a group shot of several different people. The photos of Sabrina were graciously provided by Utah photographer Sheri Beavers of Sweet Pea Photos. (FYI, I don’t know why but the photos look overexposed. Something strange happened during the production of the video I guess). "Creating a Portrait Collage" video by Sam on Vimeo |
