Default Adobe Bridge CS4 Batch Rename problem

Hi,
I am experiencing a problem with Adobe Bridge CS4. When I apply batch rename all the labels, post processing, etc. is lost. The reason is that only the RAW file is being renamed, but the xmp file associated with it is not.

Although this is a new install of CS4 in my new Windows 7 machine, this problem started just recently. It was fine before, and I had not changed any of the preferences.

How can this be fixed? Please help

Sounds like you have to purge the cache for folder option first for start, maybe even refresh prefs but try also a new folder and move the files in to this one and let Bridge cache it first.

I have the same problem. After a while it just makes up names for the file and all my changes are lost...
