Default Crop size for printing unknow size

I have some pictures (about 80) that I took for a friends wedding because he couldn't afford a real photographer :-) and I'm planning on sending him a CD with all the edited pictures on it, but I'm not sure what crop size is best. They say they plan to print some at 8x10, 5x7, etc. Is there a good or recommended crop size to use when you don't know what size they plan to print?

I would usually retain the same aspect ratio as they came off the camera (4:3) - then, if necessary, offer to crop the ones they want to print to suit their needs.

If you need to crop now - crop a little bit wide to leave some latitude for a further crop down the track or to allow for some clipping when they're printed.

Don't crop until you need to, its just a waste of pixels. You only need to crop when you present the photos which means either online or at the print stage.

If you don't want them to do the cropping ask them to tell you what size they want to print each photo and crop it for them.

Yeah, give the pics in original native resolution. Don't mess with it.
