I have several different monitors, including the LCD on my laptop directly, an external Dell LCD at my home office, and an external Envision at my office. I am not running multiple monitors at once. My question is, when I dock my laptop at my office instead of my home office (or vice versa) is there no way for Windows to automatically select the correct ICC profile for that monitor? I have used the Huey Pro to create ICC profiles for each monitor, and I have a little utility I downloaded from the web to switch between ICC profiles, but it seems like Windows should be able to automatically select the correct one when I boot up, based on what monitor is connected/active.
Anyone get this to work? |
