Default presets and plug ins

Hi! I currently use Lightroom and CS4 and am looking at some neat action sets to buy. I'm new to photography and spend more time making minor adjustments in Lightroom right now since I can make adjustments to batches of photos at once. I am sure when my skill level improves I will only need to make specific edits on specific images which means more photoshop work and less lightroom.............but for now, what program should I consider using when buying my preset actions? (the inverstment isn't much so cost wouldn't be a huge deterrent)

I have so darn many but use very few. Topaz Adjust is one I use all the time. as well as Flaming Pear, Niks color efex and Silver Efex.
Aliens Skin is also something I use. All of these are plugins. Dont use actions so much

I'll second the Nik Software set. I recently picked up the set for Lightroom, and I can still work with batch processing with it. I don't really use many actions, but that set of plugins... well... definitely used a lot (they have great sharpening and noise reduction filters too)!
