Unhappy Random white dots appearing on jpeg photos

I have a problem where my photos have little white dots (about 1 pixel big) appearing in many black areas of my photos. The same photos didn't have thise problem when they where taken but over time many of my JPEG photos have this problem. I would like to post a screenshot but just as I go to take a screenshot of my desktop (which has the problem), the problem is gone. This problem often happens and goes away. Is there a way to stop this? This happens with some of my best photos as well D:

This sounds like a problem with your screen, not with your photos. Have you tried viewing them on a different computer?

Also, I don't see any problems in your screenshot.

OK. WTF! They were there when I uploaded the photo. Now there gone?

But I don't think its my monitor. You see I zoom in on the pictures and the white pixels jump different places. O.o

The only time I've ever seen what you're describing is when the images are used in a web page with the opacity adjusted by CSS. The problem only occurs in IE 6 and 7.

Well the problem was shown when viewing the photo in Adobe Organizer (btw which is better? adobe Organizer or picasa?) and in WIndows Image Viewer. I use firefox anyway. I'm pretty anti-IE anyway.

So the problem comes and goes.
It can't be IE cause I don't use it.
It can't be my monitor because the white dots shift around when zooming in.
It also only happens on the black areas of the photo.
Then what does that leave?
