Took this pic today on a spur of the moment - any ideas on what to do with it PP? (Lightroom and CS4 extended) free trial

First things first. You need a much tighter crop. I'd be playing with levels to bring the whites whiter and the darker colors darker. (contrast)
Maybe some selective saturation to make that ice cream cone POP! The eyeglasses I'm not so sure about how to go about getting rid of the glare on them.

Contrast Boost, selective saturation boost on cone as Wind suggested and an 8x10 crop to eliminate some of the negative space.

I actually liked the cropping of the photo, however, there was a little too much space above his head. I cropped out some of that space over his head, and warmed up the colors in the photo using a couple of actions that I have because it looked kinda cold. I used curves to lighten the photo just a smidge. I also saturated the colors of the ice cream and vignetted the whole photo as a subtle frame. I don't really know how to deal with the glare in his glasses, although it doesn't really bother me.
