hi all this is my first post on this great website..
i have a fantastic photo of a church but the sky has bleached out so i took a new photo of a good cloud formation but i cant work out how to merge the photos together in cs4.. thanks in advance of any help you can give Thestig |

You can always paste a new sky in an mask out or erase any overlaying areas.
Sometimes you can paste in a new sky and then change your blend mode to multiply. When adding in a new sky, be sure to make sure the color tones match the tones of the image you are putting it in. The direction of the sun also plays a huge factor

i understand i need to paste a new image but i cant find out how to when i have two photos open in cs4 ..if i click on sky photo and copy it wont paste on to new photo,...i am not too tech on photoshop yet as i am still learning

In PS you will need to use the marquee tool to trace around the image or area of what you want to copy. Then go to the other image and click on ctrl v and it should past it onto the new photo as a new layer
