Question Don't know where to start

Hey guys I'm trying to teach myself photoshop. The other day I was on another website and I saw a photo that had a series of pictures (6) arranged vertically into one picture. Thats the best way I can describe it. What I want to know is if there is a video or a tutorial online that can show me how to do that??? Do any of you guys out there know what I'm talking about or how to do what I'm talking about??? If so your help would be greatly appreciated. I attached a picture to give an example

I've never done a collage or montage before but a quick google gave me over 500,000 hits with all kinds of tutorials. You might start there.

It's done by creating a layer for each photo in photoshop and them flatting the layers into one image. Get Adobe's Classroom in a book.

its by layers and transform tools... (some don't wan't to use transform tool because it tends to damage the quality of images.)
