Default Anyone Used Pixelmator?

I've upgraded my computer to 10.6 and my photoshop 2.0 no longer works. I'm looking for a replacement for photoshop 2 (too cheap to upgrade cs4) and was wondering what others are using for photo correction. I have Adobe Lightroom but sometimes there's a need for layers etc that only photoshop offers.

Choices are:
Pixelmator
Photoshop Elements

Any others?

I use Gimp, which is not only free, but has layers just as well as anyone. It only lacks adjustment layers (but you didn't have those in PS2 anyhow, I don't think!).

Photoshop Elements is my choice. Considerably less expensive than CS4. I have PSE 5 but I think they are on 7 now.

I'll be fourth. If you're on the cheap, it doesn't get any better than GIMP.
