So I'm using Photoshop (fairly new to it) and reciently got a used, but great condition Epson 2200 Printer.
The problem I'm having is that my prints cone out much darker and sometimes have different shades of color than what is on my monitor. I also noticed it with my HP printer when I tried some photo printing with it. I am using a notebook to do my editing and I also k now that the LCD's are notorious for not being calibrated right. I think part of my problem is that my monitor isn't calibrated good enough, and that my printer settings are not set right. So, first, I need to know what calibrations software/hardware is out there that is reasonably priced and that works, and secondly, if you are running an Epson 2200 printer, what is your settings in your printer drivers. There is so much in the driver software to choose from, it's hard to pick what is right. Any help would be great. Thanks... Frank
