cs3 vs capture nx

i got questions,

On cs 3 with the plug in for nikon RAW,
that recovery option on cs3, how do u make those type adjustments using capture NX.
Iv been using photoshop alot more than cature nx its so much easier, i want to learn both.
with that recovery adjustment do u lose quality to pic??

Hi toryw:

I've never used CS3 so I have no idea what recovery tool you are talking about. Capture NX is very easy to use once you get the hang of it. I'm no expert but I do know a lot about it. Are you wanting to recover blown out highlights? Maybe if you would post an example & more detail of what you wish to do I could help you out. Blown out highlights are not easy to recover & most times quite impossible.

Edit List -> Quick Fix -> Highlight protection

yeah i post some pics of what i mean that would be good.
this is another kinda topic but i took some pics of fireworks which are cool but it was raining that night and was drops of water on my lens, anyway i can get rid of that circle discolation in the pic.
