Question Lightroom: RAW+JPG, What's Up?

Hey guys, I haven't posted in quite a while here.

I finally got my first DSLR, the Nikon D300 a couple of months ago. I am very happy with it!

Anyhow, to my question... When I first got my D300 I tried shooting in RAW+JPG. The shooting went fine, I imported them into Lightroom and found only one thumbnail per file. When I put my cursor over it it says DCS_1234 Raw+Jpg. I looked in the folder containing the files and both the Raw and Jpg copies are there. I tried unstacking them, but I can't seem to view the two files seperately.

Ideas?

In the import preferences you can specify whether or not to include them.

Edit>Prefences>Import. Then choose whether or not to ignore jpg's beside raw.

I personally see no reason to include them and as you can see that is the default.

Thanks for the help. It seems to be working now.
