Lightroom swap RAW for JPG

hey i want to reduce the space my photos take up and have decided to convert some of the RAW files to jpgs, but i was wondering if there was an easy way of doing it in lightroom with a plug-in or s short cut?

the only way i can think of is to export them and delete te RAW file but i have a fair few and would like to make the process as painless as possible

Most folk would never think of deleting RAW files - they would buy an extra hard disk !

i am only going to convert my 'holiday snaps' the photos that are more for memories then for my hobby and its a better that then deleting them :P

at a guess its probably about 10-15% of my photos i want to convert but it would save allot of room
