Default Velvet Fine Art and Epson R1900?

Hi all -

I've got the Epson R1900 printer, which is listed on Epson's web site as being compatible with Epson's Velvet Fine Art paper. I'm using 8.5 x 11" sheets.

When I try to print from both Photoshop CS4 or Lightroom 2, with US Letter chosen as my paper size, all of the Fine Art paper options are grayed out. Googling around, I found many people reporting that only the Manual - Roll paper options would allow you to print to Velvet Fine Art paper. (This seems bizarre, since Epson does sell it in letter sized sheets). I tried that setting, and sure enough - Velvet Fine Art is now an option! However, when I try to print, I then get the error that the paper defined in my source settings does not match the paper I have loaded.

I've tried loading paper in both the main sheet feeder and the rear single sheet feed loader. Neither work.

Any suggestions? Thanks!
