Default Paint shop pro photo x2 for photographers (my book review)

I bought this on the recommendation of a couple of people here and I just want to say WOW! This is a great book! I am learning so much! I spent most the night reading it LOL

I am still totally confused on layers and masks but the hystogram stuff was really easy to understand ~ how to set black and white points. I love the hue chapter as well!!!! I never knew I could change the saturation of some colors while leaving others alone what a cool way to bring out your subject and make them stand out a bit more!

So anyone new to print shop pro photo x2 and are confused about what all of those little doodads do, I highly recommend getting this book!

OH I wanted to add a photo I worked on a bit while reading LOL
It was my tester

This is what I did with editing BEFORE I bought the book:

and After (I am not saying the after is BETTER so much as how much it changed without looking fake!) I was reading and clicking at the same time ~ trying to understand what the different effects would look like)

Is that the book by Ken McMahon? I have that one, too. Very easy to follow and really helpful for deciphering PPS.

Nice work there Praline!! Glad to see the book is working out well for you. It shows in your PP work! That Layers/Masking thing is where I get lost also. Keep up the good work.
