Default Can this be saved in PSE 7

My attempts to save this are not coming out very well. I am still learning pp in Elements so I would like to know what you would do. Is this a dodge and burn thing? A layers thing? Any other ideas? I know that the exposure should have been better to begin with, but I am officially shooting only in manual so not every pic is turning out great. Hopefully someday.

Anyway, let me know what you think!

I just took a look at your website. Pretty slick, but when I went to the contact page, the black text on the brown background doesn't work. I can barely read your contact info.

BTW, I hate music when I look at a web page, but that is just me.

Hi pckrbby-
I am pretty new at using PSE 7, but I would try adjusting the color with curves and also try a levels adjustment layer, i usually get favorable results when i try this. I can copy it and give it a try if you want just let me know. Good luck. He's a real cutie.

Thanks for the replies!

Quo,

I will check out the contact page and get that issue fixed! As far as the music goes, it seems like all of the portrait websites I visit have music, I figure that they can always turns the volume off, that is what I do. Thanks so much for the input!

Star,

When I mess with things it seems to just turn his face a bad orange color. I will keep messing with it. Feel free to edit the picture and repost. I am fairly new to PSE 7 and need to just sit down and try all of the options and see what happens.

Thanks again!

Sue

Absolutely - as the previous poster mentioned, use curves or levels adjustments.

Default Another Way

What I did was duplicate the layer then change the mode to screen and adjust as you see fit..when you have what you want then merge the layers
