Lightroom and Baby/Hospital question

Looking for suggestions for what to do with these photos. I took some pictures of my nephew after he was born last month and I am currently in the process of post-processing in Lightroom. Problem is, some of the photos were taken when he was in the nursery and he was inside while they were feeding him. I am not sure what to do to fix the photos to make the composition to look more like the ones outside of the nursery and inside the room with his parents. Any suggestions?

first shot has some promise, i don't think the composition is poor, just need to give a little more definition to the subject, being the baby's head. maybe a bit of vignette around the edges to reduce distracting elements, add some contrast by tweaking a curve, a bit more saturation would be my starting points.

second shot is difficult, could try to crop into the feet, but a couple of toes touch the edge of frame which i find distracting. curves and saturation will add a bit to it.
