I'm a photoshop fan and would recommend it to all but I understand (and remember) how difficult it was for me to learn.
I started off with paint shop pro 7 - It cost me £50 (I thought that was extortionate at the time!) and it was fantastic - the newer versions of PSP are so much more like photoshop. If your on mac you could also look at acorn. I only really bought psp/photoshop for my webdesign needs - the photography aspect was a plus - if its just photo editing your looking at why not try lightroom or aperture? |

My husband has a software buying program through his work. I don't know the details but he can buy software through his company at a DEEPLY discounted rate. He is supposed to be looking into what photo editing programs he can grab. When I mean discount ~ He got microsoft office suite for $10
and autocad for under $20 ![]() The bad thing is you can only install it on one PC (we have 5 PC's in the house) and some other rules and regulations about *sutff* I am sure those of you that have the same kind of program at work know about these. He can only buy 1 copy per edition. I am crossing my fingers he can buy the new photoshop program! That would be GREAT!
