Default Placing a "watermark" on multiple photos?

Does anyone know how to simplify this process? I have about 300 photos from the wedding I shot this last weekend and since I haven't been paid in full for the photos and I have to show the proofs over the net I need to watermark them.

It would depend upon the photo editing software that you use.

FS Viewer is free and can do it in batch mode..you will of course need to create the watermark as a png but otherwise it works well. Lightroom, I understand will also do it

Faststone will do it in batch mode, but you are saving as jpeg for a second time & will lose a little quality.

I use the export facility in LR2 when generating a first generation jpeg from RAW. The LR2 print module also has an Indentity Plate option that will generate a text based watermark.
