Can u guys please tell me whether there is any difference b\w a HDR photo created from a single raw file and that which is created off the camera by taking pics with multiple exposures. So which technique's better off, the single RAW file(saves space) or the multiple exposure shots?

The difference is the actual dynamic range covered. It's better to have bracketed exposures; it's the usual rule of digital photography: more initial data is generally better than less.
