Can somone help me edit this photo?

I am new to photoshop and I have tried to erase the bag they are sitting on but I cannot do it. Can someone help me and then tell me how you did it so I can fix some of the other ones.

Remove the bag.

Hello Pixiedust, In Open your pic in photoshop, One of the tools down the left hand side is called the clone stamp tool. Select that. make a reference selection of some of the sand, try and select an area that is simular in color such as under the peoples legs. to do this hold down the alt key it will turn into a circle with crosshairs. now click once on the sandy area under the legs. now let go of the alt key and start to paint out the bag, once you have a few goes at it you will get the jist of what is happening. If you still have problems, go to you tube and type in clone stamp tool tutorial, I'm sure there will be heaps of tutorials for you to start learning.
