Default Printing in Lightroom

Hey there,

Not sure if this is the correct part to post on.

I am having a problem printing my photos in lightroom and I am not sure why - I must be missing a setting within the program somewhere along the way.

If I print my images from within Vista using the Windows Photo Gallery print wizard, I get near perfect colour matching. In fact, I cannot even fault it! However, when I print from lightroom, no matter what I tick or untick, the prints come out dull and the colour matching is poor, with skin tones being washed out, skies seem darker that they actually are on screen and so on.

Is this a common problem, am I just doing something wrong? I am printing on a Epson R220 with compatible ink. Ink is not the problem as Vista matches colour perfectly!

I hope someone can help!

Cheers

James

I came across a thread elsewhere discussing this problem. It had a few solutions in it that might be useful for you to try. There's also a video with printing tips. Hopefully that gets you started.
