I agree with Imagia, as much as it sucks that it isnt perfect, that is a part of the child's life and development. I have a picture of myself as an infant drooling away, I have pictures of my kids with scrapes and bonks and acne, it is part of their life. *shrugs* at least ya can sell it that way or mom can come back for another session? The photo is beautiful

I couldn't see it on the first photo, but did on the larger one. Sorry, I don't know how to edit it out. I guess hygiene is a little off topic, but I have a couple of tips for how to get rid of it, if it bothers mom and she wants to re-shoot. Massage olive oil into scalp and let sit for a few minutes to soften. Then use a fine toothed comb to gently scrape. It'll look really bad at first as the flakes come off. Once the whole scalp is done shampoo. It may take a few times to get it all off. I've also heard just washing with a dandruff shampoo will work, but I never tried that, and don't know how long it takes.

Your lucky here that the craddle cap isnt flaky, which makes it a pain to get rid of, I have shot a few babies with it and in this shot Id recomend selectively desaturating the areas where the cradle cap is, and using a very very slight gaussian blur to smooth it a bit, but the hair does hide it well, and its really not the big of a deal. Hope this helps (: great pic btw

Yep, I can definitely see it in the larger one. If you don't mind, I'll give a go at it and see what I can come up with....

Ok, just a quick play with it and I came up with this...
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3352/...fddd4463_b.jpg The cradle cap is really yellow (along with a yellow streak down the side of her forehead). I just selected all of that area (traced it freehanded) with a 100pixel feather and made a new layer with it. Then I clicked on selective color, chose yellow and brought it way down. Then I put a mask on that layer, painted it all out, and then started slowly painting over the yellow parts at different opacities til I liked it. Not sure if this will work, but heck....it's late and its all I could think of right now. LOL!

Thank you everyone!
I managed to use gussian blur to minimize the cradle cap and the mom said she LOVED LOVED LOVED the photographs, so I am not overly worried anymore *phew!* thank you all for your help!
