Default how do i put a nice sky in this photo?

Brisbane, Australia

i really like this photo, but i dont know how i could put a nice blue sky in it to make it more inviting? hmmm
anyone?

I really like the skyline of the city. The colors in the buildings are very interesting and I love all the boats in the water.

I am no expert at PP. I am trying to learn GIMP, but not doing well with it. I have a little program called Play with Pictures that is really easy to change backgrounds on. And anytime I see interesting clouds or color in the sky I take a few shots.
I did this with your pic, hope you don't mind.

The problem you'll have with this is that very few skies are going to look in any way natural.

what you'll need to do is if you are adding a blue sky you'll need to adjust the color temp of the rest of the image to match. You'll also need to be careful of the sun direction so it doesnt look fake.
