Hi all,
I was just wondering what everyone prefers. Do you prefer traditional matting and framing for your prints or gallery wraps or standouts? Does it make a difference which you choose based on whether it's for yourself, a customer/client or entering a competition? Up until now I've matted and framed but, I'm really thinking of trying the gallery wraps. Thanks. |

Depends on what it's for, and what the image.
For the most part I get simple poster frames for my larger prints. They come in all shapes and sizes that I could possibly think of and are dirt cheap. Theyre also really simple (a simple 0.5" black edge). For a more polished "gallery" look I tend to go for either a simple black frame (1" wide) with or without a mat (depending on the images, but always uniform throughout)
