No you are not way off. Everyone charge what they feel is a fair rate. So that "fee" can fluxuate by who does the work

as an 8 x 10 it should come out fine.....

on the diting price you can take a cost per image when you are batching them all....
its the same amount of processing whether you do one image or 200 images if you ar doing them as a batch.
For 50 dollars you can barely get a software app and do it yourself......
Sure you can get GIMP and practice it until you get it right.....its not hrd once you know what to do.
Its that knowing what to do is where the charge comes from.
IF people out there want to charge 50 cents to process an image then so be it but my time is worth a bit more to me......

Glad you got the help you need though. Michelle did a great job and I hope your sister is happy with it...Im sure she will be its agreat shot.
