Default Lightroom or PS Elements 7

Hello,

I'm down to two post processing softwares. I would love some feedback on which one I should get. I'm using a 30 day trial of the LR right now, and do like it. I know it cost a lot more than the Elements, but I also want something that is user friendly and mainly for just post processing of images, especially RAW format. I would appreciate any pros and cons.

Thanks in Advance,

Krystal

geez..

impossible to say. they really are lightyears appart.

everyone will recommend LR to you.. guaranteed. BUT elements is great for an ameture.
i use elements, YES i will be upgrading to LR, but only because i'm working towards going semi-pro an a few years.

i say start with elements, learn what it can do, then go on from there..
you may find the "organiser" in elements good.
with elements you CAN batch process raw files with the built-in ACR, but it doesnt allow presets as far as i understand.
so then its "enter LR" if you want presets for batch editing like cross procesing etc etc.

LR isnt quite the same when it comes to "heavy" editing. (i mean graphic design type stuff..)
you'll want CS3 for that.
