First step: ask. Most photographers really dont mind sharing their tips and techniques.

I would suspect it has a bit of HDR-like manipulation and stacking involved.

A super-wide angle lens.
A light or two.
Lots and lots of masks.
Some better than others it seems.

Well i was going to ask but after reading one of her blogs it says she doesnt answer questions about her work so that went down the drain.

Layer masks? what effect/ actions do you think were done? i mean to achieve the really bright colors everywhere without making it too grainy and ugly looking?

Anybody?

I looked through her flickr, there are quite a few photogs who use similar effects on their photos, and they are each unique settings. You can achieve similar but not exact recreations of these effects, its really about figuring out what you want each of your photos to look like, and if you are wanting to get the colors and vibrancy in these, you will definetly need a good understanding of layer masks and saturation and lighting. Her photos are well lit foreground and darkened backgrounds, which make the subjects pop. This can be achieved both in camera and in pp, she also has very detailed captures of the sky, which add to these photos you have chosen in particular. The cloud capture give alot of drama to these, and gives her something to work with in pp. Do you have a similar photo like this one that you could post and we could work on for you and show you some ways you can edit your shots? I will post some of mine to show you my personal version of this style of bright vibrant editing, hopefully you like them, (again this is my own version of this style) and if you give me something of yours to work with I will gladly play around and show you some possible edits and see if I can accomplish an effect you like. let me know
