Default Struggling with color

I am in an area that does not have a lot of color. I am trying to find it any where I can. Adjusting color in post processing has always been a struggle. I have not quite grasped that concept yet.

Suggestions:

No, I don't imagine there is much color in Antarctica. Great images by the way. I really like what you have done with them. The first one is my Fav.

Love 'em! Your comment about the lack of colour made me laugh, I helped make a film about a painter visiting the Dry Valleys and nearly called it "Take Lots Of White, Nigel!" If you get the chance, hitch a helo ride to Blood Falls in the Dry Valleys. Iron compounds stain the glacier there some amazing colours. If only I could get down there!

You're over-wintering? I'm guessing Mactown. Mate, you're going to have a serious portfolio come Winfly! The historic huts, the aurora, machinery, people, science activities. I'm as green as a kiwifruit's guts!

Hi kklassy. I can see how all the snow could make it difficult but you sure found what there was of it. Love the first one, the colour and composition are really great.. Maybe we need to send you a box of smarties or rainbow sherbert, if that doesn't help, you could always eat them lol...
