If anyone can help me fix my workflow, I will give you a huge virtual hug.
I'm getting progressively more and more frustrated with Firefox and color profiles. I shoot in RAW with a Nikon D60, then upload the photos to my computer using iPhoto. I know that iPhoto uses aRBG, and Safari is smart enough to use the embedded color profile. I also know that other browsers aren't as smart, so I open the image in Photoshop and assign an sRGB profile to the image. I must be doing something wrong, though, because when I upload to flickr, the photo still looks washed out in Firefox. I've uploaded a (horribly compressed, sorry) photo to illustrate the issue. Mac users: do you have a workflow that precludes this from happening? Can you tell me what step I am missing? I want people to be able to see the photos the same way I see them, so needless to say this is more than frustrating. Pretty please, help me before I tear my hair out!

Even in sRGB, browsers WILL NOT display images the same way your editor will. The editor pulls about 10x more ressources from the processor and GPU than a browser, and is designed specifically for images: a browser is designed to show web pages, images come second.
Learn to live with it. (also, for fun: try it in the latest Safari on a mac. You'll REALLY be mad)
