Default saving an image in CS3

I use photoshop CS3. What should I be saving my image under when it's ready to be printed and can a place like walmart and/or an online print lab print it?

Go to File-save as- (pick Jpeg, or Tiff) and save to a folder on your desktop.

Question save as in CS3

For some reason in my list of save as options in CS3 I do not get a JPEG choice.

You might need to reload CS3.

if you don't see all the file formats, check to see what image mode you are in (image -> mode). jpeg is only a save option for images that are 8-bit and CYMK, RGB, or greyscale.

you can also do file -> save for web (ctrl + alt + shift + s), but be aware that save for web discards exif data, where as save as does not.
