Photoshop Text Fonts

where can i get free fonts from???
i never seem to get the "right' font and there really isnt a huge variety, especially facy fonts, in photoshop.
(bear in mind i have elements.. so there may be fewer than a CS?)

i'm assuming its much like downloading a brush, just paste it into a folder and you're set.BUT,
where can i get free fonts?
i cant find any on deviantart

In Windows you can just paste or drag the font file to your font folder. Should be found somewhere in Control Panel. In Mac it probably is bit different (not sure since I'm a Windows user). You should then be able to use the fonts in different programs as well like Word etc.

Couple free font sites off the top of my head:

http://www.urbanfonts.com/
http://simplythebest.net/fonts/

Also just googling "free fonts" works just as nicely.

And sure enough there are fonts in dA too: http://www.deviantart.com/#catpath=r.../fonts&order=5
