I just recently started getting into textures too! I'm glad you guys posted some great links too, I could look at textures all day!

Thanks for starting this thread! I was looking around yesterday while I was at work and I came across this and got inspired for my 2nd self portrait for my 52. I have never really used textures...so this was a new one for me. I like what you can do. Great pics on here!!

I can only show these ones i did recently due to not having a pro account at the mo but only have an extra one anyway!





Ive found loads of textures i like but dont see the shots i take with them, do you take a shot with a texture in mind or do you just play and see what happens?

Also i find Deviant art great for these things.

These are some of my fav sites. I love textures - you can take a not so great photo and add drama and depth to it. Just load up your textures above your picture and play with the blend modes.
