9/10. I work for a VFX house, so this will be getting sent around.

Hey, got 9/10. It didn't tell me which one I got wrong, though. A lot of those you can tell based on thinking, "If I spent a hundred hours learning 3d modelling, how would I like to present it?"

Eureka! I scored a perfect 10! Wow! can't believe it. The first photograph foxed me quite a lot, I went my hunch. Now taking the next round.

Too bad, flunked the second test, 2 of 4

Default Love the test

I got 5/10 but the five I did get right I was sure about them. The car was a surprise.

7/10 here. That car is remarkable! I guessed on that weird color bubble thing (no clue what it was so assumed it was fake), and also got the diamonds wrong. Should've followed my gut on that one...

Neat and fun! Thanks for posting it!!

Edit: I just went back and did the bonus round. 3/4... not bad. The two that were CG were obvious!

8/10

Messed up diamonds and corkscrew.

Usually what gives away a CG shot is lighting, shadows, and reflections. I guess that's really what they have to work on now? Really amazing what CG can do, though [the car looked spot-on until I looked at the lighting on the buildings behind it and the reflection off of it].

Hoping to buy eventually: A long long long time from now, maybe I'll get the Nikkor 70-300mm AF-S f/4.5-5.6G VR or a Nikkor 18-200 AF-S f/3.5-5.6G VR.

Got room for me in the "6 out of 10 Club?" Those were some fantastic computer generated graphics. Thanks for sharing that link Jiminy!
