I had run across this last year and lost it...well, I found it again and thought I'd share with everyone...

It's from smugmug so some of you might have already seen this

The other very helpful co-article to this is

Getting Great Prints: Calibration

You can order Calibration Prints and compare them to their screen versions to help with calibrating your monitor.

Even if you print somewhere other than SmugMug or print at home, the soft proofing information is good for those not familiar with it and of course works with other services.
