Question Photoshop Help?...I lost something...How do I get it back?

I am using PS CS3 (that shouldn't matter here) and I used to have a cursor for paint, eraser, etc that showed the size of the brush as I was working on a picture. Something happened and now it's just small cross hairs, no matter what size I make the brush, it's small cross hairs. The brush works at the proper sizes when I select them, but I cant tell where it is while using it. Does anyone know how to get it back where its visible while using it? Thanks in advance.

your displays are reset somehow....

go to edit, preferences, displays and cursors, then reset to full sized brush tips......you may have to reboot, but that ought to get you looking right again....

peeper,
Thanks I did what you suggested and it seemed to work. I don't know if that was the settings in the specific template that I was using at the time, or if what you said did the job but either way it's fixed. Thank you SO much! I am back on the road to destruction lol Have a good one

Well lookie that! You nailed it! I was wondering why things changed from time to time and I didn't change anything. LOL Thanks a million! At least this explains it and how to circumvent it from happening again.
