I just purchased Photoshop Elements 6. (First time using any kind of Adobe Photoshop product). I am interested in some of the plug ins I can down load, mainly Topaz Adjust. My question is, once I download a plug in and install it, does it run when I open Elements? And how does one access it? I just loaded Elements a few days ago and have not really played with it yet or installed any plug ins. I have been using Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10 but want to move up in the world to more advance photo editing. Elements is all new to learn for me.

Well, Topaz Adjust will run on the following programs:
Windows Topaz Adjust is compatible with
I'm pretty sure Topaz has an installer rather than making you install it manually in any case.

Check out this website - it lists a ton of free photoshop plug-ins and each of the plugins give you directions on how to download and access. Happy hunting - I am only through 25% of the list myself...

I am using Topaz Adjust because I am fascinated by this HDR stuff but am overly lazy for the PP involved...(right now anyways, due to desire to learn photography first).
It is pretty amazing, Topaz Adjust that is, my question is... How many of you very good to great photographers use plug ins to PP with and what are some of your favorites. And a little question...is it cheating to use plug ins, that might not be the right word but I think you might know what I mean. |
